Vandafinetia alba: is a hybrid of Neofinetia falcata x Vanda tesselatta alba. Neofinetia falcata is known as 'Samurai Orchid' due to its origin in Japan and China. Vandafinetias are hybrids of Vanda with Neofinetia falcata. Neofinetia was once considered as a royal plant in Japan and could only be posessed by the warrior class.
Vanda hybrids of Neofinetia are petit (short) or miniature orchids. The hybrids bring a range of colours but maintains the floriferous nature and the fagrance of Neofinetia (Aeridis Class).
The hybrid can tolerae a wide range of temperatures. Humidity is best at 60-70%. Bright light, indirect and good moisture with drainage is essential.
